When you contact us

We collect your email address, phone number and selected offers, plus your name and store address if you provide them. We use these details to respond, discuss your request and take any steps you ask us to take before an engagement. Submitting the form does not subscribe you to a newsletter or activate a paid service.

Your request is saved in our website database and an email notification is sent to our team’s inbox. Website database records are scheduled for deletion after 90 days. A notification copy may remain in the email conversation while your enquiry or a resulting business relationship is being handled; the database expiry does not delete emails.

We use a short-lived, hashed network identifier to limit abuse of the form. These form rate-limit records expire after 20 minutes and are separate from enquiry records and audience analytics. We do not use contact details to identify you in the analytics dashboard.

Website statistics and your choices

By default, we count page views and selected interactions, such as opening an offer, using the grade checker, replaying an animation or completing the contact form. These events contain a fixed page name and, where relevant, a fixed action or offer name. They do not contain a visitor identifier and cannot be joined into an individual browsing journey. They help us understand which pages and offers are useful.

The banner offers two choices: “Counts only” keeps these ID-free statistics; “Allow visitor recognition” also lets us estimate daily visitors. Recognition uses a random browser identifier only on this website. It is sent in a separate visitor-counting event, never attached to page-view or click events. The server converts it to a one-way identifier that changes each UTC day. Counts describe consenting browsers, not named people; another browser or cleared storage can count as a new visitor.

No form answers, store-search text, full page addresses, URL query strings, referrers or browsing history are included in audience analytics. We do not record your screen or keystrokes, use analytics cookies or fingerprint your browser. Contact requests are processed separately; their operational totals do not depend on your analytics choice.

Your recognition permission and browser identifier expire after a fixed 180 days; visits do not renew them. When permission expires, recognition stops, the identifier is removed and ID-free counts continue while the banner asks for a new choice. “Counts only” is remembered for 180 days. Choosing it after recognition removes the browser identifier immediately.

You can stop all audience analytics using “Disable analytics” in the banner or in “Analytics settings” in the footer. This full opt-out stays in place until you change it or clear browser storage. We also preserve earlier “Decline” choices as full opt-outs. Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track keeps all audience analytics off. These controls never prevent you from using the website or contact form.

Short-lived event receipt records are scheduled to expire after 48 hours. The processing payload and daily visitor hash are removed from an event receipt after its counts have been recorded. Daily visitor-counting markers are scheduled to expire after 48 hours, and analytics rate-limit records after two minutes. Expired database records are removed asynchronously, so deletion can take additional time. Aggregate counts contain no contact details or browser identifiers and remain available for up to 15 months under AWS’s standard metric retention.

Keep ID-free counts, allow optional visitor recognition, or disable analytics completely.

Language and regional version

We use the estimated country of your connection to show the French site to visitors in France and the international site elsewhere. You can choose FR or EN in the header at any time. When you make an explicit choice, the functional cookie aithos_lang remembers your selected language on the current domain for 180 days. It contains only the language preference, not a visitor identifier, and is not used for audience measurement. Your analytics settings remain separate.

Hosting and access

The site and its form processing use Amazon Web Services, including services in the United States. Form notifications use Google’s Gmail service. These providers process information to deliver those services. Access to the enquiry records and analytics dashboard is restricted to authorized account users; the dashboard is not public.

Audience analytics and enquiry records are kept separately. We do not sell contact information or use this website’s analytics for advertising across other websites.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your enquiry information, or to restrict or object to its use where applicable. You may also have a right to data portability. Email mathieu@aithos.fr; include enough information to locate your enquiry without sending unnecessary sensitive details.

You can withdraw visitor recognition or disable all audience analytics using the control above or “Analytics settings” in the footer. Changes apply to future collection; they do not undo processing already performed. You may also raise a concern with your data-protection authority, including the CNIL in France.
